Great local food with incredible personal hometown hospitality from owners to care. Molly and Wishbone aren't just making the city food, they're friends. Had a great lunch today with perfectly grilled shrimp on a wonderful salad. Thanks Blue Moon!
Fresh ingredients, tasty food, great beer and wine options along with house made lemonade and other choices. Love the live music on the weekends outside on the patio. Board games to entertain kids of all ages. Wonderful snacks, treats, and take home to bake meals. Blue Moon Bodega is a staple for us!
Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, great place to have a meal or socialize. Earl Gray Cider on tap was great, mild cider, not the tangy bite that most have. It was really good to see a lager on tap as well and we really enjoyed it too. Large selection of wine and beer, full freezer of take-home meals, great selection of gifts. They make their own Bennie wafers that are the best I've tasted. If you haven't visited, you're missing out. I see on the reviews that they have sangria, I'm looking forward to that on my next visit.
We LOVE BMB!!! Just the other day, we snagged a Shepherds Pie --- and as always --- it was delicious!!! We are grateful they are right across the street, but yes, this level of convenience can be detrimental. 😉 Owned and operated by fabulous people. Staffed by hardworking, lovely people!!
We love going to trivia and music bingo at the Blue Moon Bodega, so when we were trying to pick a place for our son’s high school graduation party, the patio was the first thing we thought of! It couldn’t have gone better. The team was incredibly flexible when working with us on the menu, letting us in early to decorate and then having all of the delicious food out on time! They checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else - for most of our guests, it was their first time visiting and we got so many compliments on the food, the atmosphere and the service. I highly recommend the Blue Moon Bodega, whether it is to attend an event, host an event or just to grab dinner or lunch.
I have ordered special meals (like Thanksgivng) from Blue Moon several times and have always been delighted. I just ordered for Valentine's Day and I am looking forward to another great experience. Great food; great service; nice people.
I am in looooooooove with this place! If I could financially afford to eat out every day, I would happily eat here with bells on! I have heard such great things about this place and knew I needed to stop in ASAP. My expectations were blown out of the water as the food was that good. The shrimp and grits were the best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted, and I am not a big fan of pimento cheese. The environment is welcoming and cozy, perfect for a general store vibe. I can’t wait to come back and try the chicken pot pie and some of the frozen goodies! 10/10 stars!
Ordered their flounder fish fry plate. It was delicious and plenty of food. Their chips were excellent and really enjoyed the cole slaw too! Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.
My husband and I were in Spartenburg for a show. He wanted to try this place and it was a short walk from where we were staying. As soon as we walked in the aroma was amazing. The staff was great and the food was amazing.
Great little hidden gem in downtown Spartanburg.. Lots of organic, vegetarian and or healthy choices on the menu.. Not to mention the Friday night live music on the porch and their Saturday night fish fry as well... They have samplings from local candy and snack outlets as well as local art and pottery for sale inside.. All that annnnd they are a dog friendly establishment... We've taken our new pup here several times... We highly recommend giving The Blue Moon Bodega a try...
